PTEKATOK ADVENTURE CLUB 1ST CAMPING AT HUTAN SIMPAN BERAKAS.

Our 1st camping was held on the 19th and 20th.
All of the members and volunteers of adventure club arrived 2.30 pm at the camping area of Hutan Simpan Berakas.





While waiting for the rest of the members and volunteers to come, me and Fai were trying this game.
Its called String intertwined puzzle and it required a lot of logic and patience.

Before the activity started we took some pictures 1st.

The refreshment were busy preparing us lunch while some of us did the Asar prayer.

Our super super senior from the 1st batch of adventure club came and gave us some pointers. Thank you.



Our 1st activity was cleaning up the surroundings which included the camping area and the beach.

Our cleaning campaign finished exactly at 5.30pm so after the hardworking of cleaning campaign, we gave ourself a special treat of watching the sunset.









THEN, the Maghrib prayer, followed by the reading of surah Yassin and followed by the Isya prayer.




PREPARATION FOR DINNER.


We had spaghetti, bbq chicken and hotdogs and a lot of snacks.

After we had our dinner, the super senior, adventure arif and the rest called us in for a talk.

In the talk we all sat in a circle and a torchlight went all around to every each one of us and were given the chance to talk what we like and dislike about the adventure club, the members and the volunteers. The torchlight metaphorically gave us the 'power to speak'. It was a really good activity, the talk stayed in the cabin and nobody went out without a hard feeling.

THE NEXT MORNING.

WARMING UP.

1st game.

All of us were divided into 3 groups using head-count, then each group were asked to find flags that were hidden around the camp area in 5 minutes.
The point of this game were team work and time management are always important.

2ND GAME.

Each members stood on a 'wood-like-chair' and then each member threw a balloon that is filled with water to the other member (opposite or on their left or right), the balloon which exploded on the member was asked to do a 'dare'.
The point of this game is the building up of self confidence and increase of our awareness of the surroundings.

This dare when Wan had to say 'I LOVE YOU' to the person who threw the balloon at him.



PREPARATION FOR LUNCH.

Since some of the girls cooked.


The guys washed the dishes.

After lunch/zuhur prayer, again the senior called us and they also prepared us a very 'Adventurous' game that also required respect among members and time management.

After asar prayer, our next activity was 'The Tour' (walk around and outside the camping area), since most of the members already went home, only some of us joined the tour, estimation around 20 people.

The tour was A LOT of FUN because we didn't know that there were playgrounds ahead of us :P
